We asked our social media fans to send in their questions for Sleeping Beauty Wakes star Aspen Vincent.

Here’s what she had to say:

What is it like going from Broadway to California? #AskAspen – @wiccabuffy via Twitter

Aspen: “It’s amazing to be working in San Diego because it’s where I grew up. I’m a major homebody and get really homesick for New York when ive been away for a while, but I LOVE San Diego. It’s really humbling to be performing in my hometown after fulfilling my dream of being a Broadway actress!”

What is your favorite summer memory, and what is your favorite summer song? #askaspen

Aspen: “I spent six years of my childhood in Alaska, and for the rest of my youth I would spend a big chunk of the summertime up there. We had a speedboat and a cabin on a lake, and I was at my absolute happiest sitting in the front of the boat with the wind in my face. :) I get relaxed just thinking about it. My favorite summer song? Hmm. Well my all time favorite song is “Man in Motion (St Elmo’s Fire)”, much to the chagrin of my husband. hee hee :) I guess that would make it my favorite summer song too! So cheesy I know.”

Any aspirations on doing a solo album (CD)? I think you have the most amazing voice. Honestly, I can listen to you sing for hours. The only other person I have ever said that to was my husband and damn he can sing too. via Cyndi M.  via Facebook

Aspen: “You’re so sweet! It’s funny, I have my hands in a lot of entertainment pots but thats one area I’ve never had an interest in…Maybe because I don’t write, so there isn’t anything creatively motivating me to record my own album. But I’ll let you know if that changes!”
