Jones, courtesy of The RAGE Monthly              Innovation Night 2009Over 430 guests gathered to celebrate Innovation Night, held on December 9, 2009 at La Jolla Playhouse. The night brought together the leaders of bio-tech, high-tech and associated service industries for night of food, drink, networking and theatre. The event, chaired by Len J. Lauer (COO, Qualcomm), Ivor Royston (Managing Partner, Forward Ventures), Duane Roth (CEO, CONNECT) and Susan Dubé (Acting VP of Business Development, Cypress Bioscience, Inc.), raised over $125,000 for La Jolla Playhouse’s education and new play development programs. Guests enjoyed a pre-show reception catered by Waters Fine Catering, and bars featuring PaQui Tequila and a craft beer tasting station from Stone Brewing Co. They were then treated to a performance of the world premiere production Bonnie & Clyde, and rounded out the evening with a post-show reception featuring desserts from 410 Degrees, Cupcakes Squared and Eclipse Chocolat.
