Experimental director David Schweizer brings this epic fantasy to life with only five actors. These agile, hilarious and versatile performers transform themselves from cowboys to button-molders, from the Egyptian Sphinx to a three-headed troll on a stage full of inventive surprises.

David Schweizer


David Schweizer has been directing original theatre, performance and opera for more than 30 years. Favorite projects include La Jolla Playhouse's Tobacco Road, off-Broadway’s Wintertime and Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori’s musical Caroline or Change. He is currently preparing Tennessee Williams’ last full-length play, Of Masks Outrageous and Austere, for its world premiere production on Broadway next season.
