Home The Season 2009/2010 Season HOOVER COMES ALIVE!

September 8 - 13, 2009

Mandell Weiss Forum

By Sean Cunningham
Songs by Michael Friedman
Directed by Alex Timbers

After stewing for 70 years in political disgrace (and presumed death), Herbert Hoover takes the stage in an interactive, rock-infused concert, to reclaim his legacy and save America in the process. Elvis' classic '68 Comeback Special serves as inspiration for Hoover's rock n' roll resurrection. This time around he's going to successfully drag us out of our economic Waterloo, come hell or high water. Award winning company Les Freres Corbusier celebrates the checkered legacy of one of our most vilified presidents in this hilarious new concert performance piece.
